Coaching by Bill Macaux, PhD MBA

Personal coaching for individuals and couples.

About Me

I am a licensed psychologist with clinical training in individual psychotherapy and couple’s therapy. And what differentiates me from most people with clinical training is that I have equally extensive experience and training as consultant and coach to executives and professionals, which includes serving as a managing director and senior consultant/coach with two international consultancies.

My combined education in Philosophy, Psychology, and Business along with my professional experience of 30 years working with clients on three continents, has given me a great deal of practical appreciation for the diversity of values, cultural influences, and personality differences that shape us persons and that interact with the many roles and life challenges we can encounter over the span of a lifetime. All of this makes me humbler and more careful as I seek to understand a new client, their experience, and how it affects them.

For this reason, I have cultivated a deep expertise in assessment, including in-depth interviewing to discover a client’s family background, assessment of their personality using the best models and tools, and gaining insight into how these factors have shaped their social and interpersonal presence at work and outside of work, and in their most precious intimate relationship.
